Bee Kissed Bloom Care & Transport Tips

Our flowers are harvested at peak freshness, grown with love on our Milton, PA farm, and conditioned for perfect maturity and full blooms on your special day. Once your flowers leave the farm, they are in your care—follow these tips to help them look their best for as long as possible.

Caring for Your Flowers

  • Keep them cool – Store buckets and arrangements in an air-conditioned or cool room (ideally 50–60°F).

  • Beat the heat – If it’s over 85°F outside, a cool basement is a good alternative.

  • Avoid direct sunlight – Keep flowers out of sun until your event.

  • Keep them hydrated – Always keep flowers in water, even during designing.

  • Check water daily – Flowers drink more than you think, especially in warm temps or when vases are full.

  • Fill generously – We recommend filling vases to within 1–2 inches of the top to prevent spills during transport but still keep blooms quenched.

Flower Bucket Pick-Up & Transport

  • Plan your space – Bring a vehicle large enough to fit all buckets and arrangements. Sometimes we send a few extra buckets so flowers aren’t overcrowded.

  • Stay cool – Make sure your vehicle is air-conditioned and flowers are shaded from direct sunlight.

  • Drive gently – We’ll help you load safely; keep buckets upright and secure to prevent tipping or damage.

We want your Bee Kissed Blooms to last a week or longer with proper care—so your celebration can be as fresh, vibrant, and full of life as the moment we harvested them.
